When we can, let’s all lend a helping hand!
About La Union
La Union is a beautiful, small community town in southern New Mexico on Highway 28.
Our parents and grandparents were mostly farmers where they farmed chile, tomatoes, cotton and other agricultural products. We have a winery called La Vina Winery and La Union Nursery and Sierra Vista Growers Nursery. The local children attend La Union Elementary School.
The educational system is the Gadsden Independent School District which includes La Union Elementary, Santa Teresa High School, and Alta Vista Early College High School, and others.
Many area residents come to La Union to spend an enjoyable day with their families at the pumpkin patches and corn mazes.
La Union has alot of local and longstanding history behind it . The buildings and farm lands below each have a story behind them. Some day, we will tell you about them!
