They met and discussed their creative ideas and carefully planned and began researching to establish a nonprofit organization and consequently, La Union Helping Hands was born.

During Christmas and Thanksgiving, La Union Helping Hands delivers holiday food baskets and handcrafted gifts to approximately 120 community families.
Area children benefit from the delivery of 60 backpacks filled with school supplies and toys. La Union Helping Hands also delivers toys and school supplies to libraries and schools.
La Union helping hands collaborates with Casa de Peregrinos, Roadrunner Food Bank, Aggies Without Limits, and the Townsite of La Union to improve the lives of residents.
