Senior of the Month of January 2025 

Margarita Lazarin was born on September 1, 1949. Her entire professional life revolved around providing home healthcare services for the elderly. 

She is a lifelong resident of La Union and has been a lifelong churchgoer and active member of the Pentecostal Church community. 

Maggie is an avid reader, and has always been known to be compassionate and generous within the community. Maggie volunteered for the Community Food Bank which visited La Union in years past.

She also helped in New Orleans after Katrina in the rebuilding of a community and church in Kenner Louisiana.    Maggie is also a great mother to five, Jennie 29, Natalie 26, Omar 25, Louie 22 and Aaron 16 and great grandmother to Celeste 8 and Alberto 5.  She also enjoys thrift stores and yard sales.

We are blessed to have her.
