May 2026 --- Facundo Ruiz
Congratulations Senior of the Month
It is a great privilege to have a community
member like Facundo of such exceptional quality.
Facundo Ruiz
Facundo Ruiz was born in May 1956 to Facundo and Maria Ruiz. Facundo has one brother and four sisters. He attended La Union Elementary School, Gadsden Jr. High and graduated from Gadsden High School in 1975.
Facundo attended Albuquerque Vocational Technical School (TVI) (1975-1976) and
El Paso Community College where he received an Associate Degree in Business Administration in 1998. He also received a second Associate Degree in Business Administration from Dona Ana Community College in 1999.
Facundo was the principal caregiver for his mother prior to her death. Today he and his siblings are caregivers for their elderly father.
Many of you know Facundo well, as he is one of the directors of La Union Helping Hands. He serves as a critical member of the board who gets things done. During Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as Mother's and Father's Day, he is consistently available to help with food distributions and other events. In addition, he helps the community with the monthly Roadrunner distributions in La Union.
As you probably have already figured out, Facundo has a great deal of patience and compassion for the elderly and other community members. The residents greatly respect him because he treats them with dignity. His family and La Union Helping Hands consider him a significant and valuable member. It is a great privilege to have a community member of such exceptional quality.
Congratulations Facundo!
