Elva Lazarin and Eduardo Fuentes (Uncle Eddy).
Notice Uncle Eddy's warm smile
Thank you, Elva and Uncle Eddy, for being an important part of our community. We value you and your contributions very much.
Seniors of the Month of November 2024
Elva is a life-long La Union resident who was born in October 25, 1952 to Mr. & Mrs. Antonio and Antonia Lazarin. She is a 1971 Gadsden High School graduate. She is married to Eduardo Fuentes better known as Uncle Eddy.
Elva is a notary public and is there to lend the community a helping hand when we need it. Not only that, but she is extremely knowledgeable about important legal papers we need in order to avoid problems down the road. Furthermore, Elva has a soothing personality that instantly puts one at ease. She has a strong faith that is calming, she has a warmth about her, and she has compassion for others.
Eduardo Fuentes was born in El Paso, Texas in October 25, 1948 to Mr. & Mrs. Filberto and Angelita Fuentes. He graduated from Ysleta High School in 1966. Later he attended San Jose College in 1974. He then furthered his education and became a graduate of the NMSU Transportation Program in 2006. Eduardo was a long haul truck driver for five years and then relocated to La Union in 1998.
Eduardo Fuentes is better known as “Uncle Eddy”. A resident once heard another person refer to him in this way, and the name stuck. Most people in La Union receive their nicknames that way. Uncle Eddy is a very kind person, and when we meet with him, he always carries a warm smile and radiates joy. It's a great feeling!
Both Elva and Uncle Eddy participated in the Roadrunner Distribution. They enjoyed this because it was a lot of fun to speak with all of the community members. We all help others, however, it is easy to recognize residents such as Elva and Uncle Eddy, who immediately show their enthusiasm for helping others. Their compassion towards others immediately shines through.
Elva and Uncle Eddy have raised a beautiful family of three.
Victor Pacheco married to Veronica Urqidi (they have 3 children Isabella, Vivian and Eric one granddaughter Araya)
Tony Lazarin married to Yvette Perez (4 children: Nathan, Isiah, Electra and Julian)
Michelle Lazarin – No children
Congratulations!
