Hello. I’m Diana Abalos. I’d like to give you a little background about myself.  I decided to get involved in La Union Helping Hands because I enjoy helping people and getting involved in the process of making sure people get a helping hand when they need it most.

 I like to call myself an artist at heart. I enjoy quilting, pottery, painting and designing art that illustrates the environment and the world around us.  I also enjoy teaching art to children or to ladies in the community who have the desire to learn a few things here and there.

I like to use my artistic ability to assist La Union Helping Hands in whatever way I can.

My responsibilities in the organizations involve:

Coordinating fundraising strategies and am responsible for supporting major fundraising programs. I organize events to solicit donations and identify and contact potential donors.  I also research prospective donors.
