Senior of the Month

Gloria Ramos, one of our most valued seniors in La Union. She is 87 years old and volunteered at the La Union Fire Department and was voted Volunteer Fire Fighter of The Year! Takes a real woman with a big heart to work at the fire department! Gloria loves to volunteer for many things. She loves getting involved.

Gloria helped La Union by working hard at the Cermez to raise money for the church. She was a religious education teacher, lector, and Eucharistic Minister.

Gloria ran the concession stand for the La Union Farmers and was the first woman to be the Democratic Chairwoman for the county! Way to go Gloria. Please join us in thanking Gloria for so much contribution of her talents to La Union.

Mr. Ruiz, a very sweet gentleman. We had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know him when he voluntarily agreed to support us with a few projects. I had the pleasure of talking with him, and he had some very interesting stories to share about when he came to La Union. He told me inspirational stories about his family life and how their lives began in La Union as he and his wife were raising their family. If you get a chance, talk with him and you'll be pleasantly surprised of his storytelling abilities. Thank you, Mr. Ruiz, for being a valuable resident of La Union.
